OK, sweetie, I’m sorry I got so mad today.

I totally understand how what I said might make you feel uncomfortable, but I feel that you and I of all people have some sort of responsibility to get involved.

I mean, far be it from me to tell you what to do, but seriously, I just think, after going to that meeting and hearing what’s going on, and it’s like, every day there’s something in the news, some horrible fucking carpet bombing or collective punishment and I just feel like I have to DO something. I meant waht I said today. What are any of us supposed to do? It’s an imperfect gesture but it’s something.

This isn’t about my guilt. Seriously. I really will go by myself if you don’t want to go but would think that you would want to. But you’re right, let’s talk.
